User Manual Guide, Version 1


Introduction

Welcome to tracTask, your ultimate task tracking solution. This user manual will guide you through the various features and functionalities of our software, ensuring that you make the most of it and improve your productivity. Whether you are an individual managing personal tasks or part of a team collaborating on projects, tracTask has got you covered. Let's get started!


Step 1 : New Account Creation

1.1 Go to the browser and type “https://www.tractask.com/” and visit the official website

1.2 Then click the “Get Started” icon on the left side.





1.3 Now choose your plan accordingly and click “Next.”

1.4 Enter your personal information (company name, email address,mobile number), choose a strong password, accept the privacy policy, and click “Next.”





1.5 You will get a One Time Password (OTP) at your given Email address. Enter the OTP and click verify to “verify” your account.












Login details

Go to the browser and type “https://www.tractask.com/” and visit the official website.

Then click the “Login” icon on the top right corner

Now enter the registered email address and password and login to your account



After logging in, you will be greeted with the dashboard, which displays an overview of your project.













STEP 2 : Home Module Overview

2.1 In the home module, you can view the list of projects, the due date of the project, and the completion status of the project.













STEP 3 : User Module Overview

3.1 Click the “user” module to invite a user

3.2 To add a subuser to your account, click the “Add user” button.


3.3 After clicking the add user button, You will get a pop up screen where you can enter the name and email address of the person you are going to invite and click “Send request.”


3.4. You will get a confirmation message when the mail is sent to the respective email address.


3.5 On the top right, you can see an “Active user” button. You can see the active sub users of your account here.

3.6 In User Permissions, you can see menus where you can choose what access you can give to your sub users.

3.7 When we click the home button, all access to home is removed for subusers. If you want to give only view, create, or anything based on the menus, you can do so based on your convenience to the subuser.













STEP 4: Workflow Module Overview

4.1 Click the workflow module to create new workflow


4.2 Click add new workflow to create your own customized workflow


4.3 After clicking Add a new workflow, enter the name and create your workflow steps by clicking the add symbol.



4.4 You can also remove the created steps by clicking subtract icon

4.5 After creating the workflow, click create so that your workflow will be created



4.6  To add new step to your workflow, click the add icon

4.7 Then type the name of the step inside the box and click the tick mark. The step will be created. 


4.8 If you want to delete the created workflow, then click the delete icon on the top right corner


4.9 Then it will ask for confirmation; click yes to delete the workflow.


4.10 You can view the workflow in column wise by clicking the column icon




4.11 To view the entire process, click the show more option


4.12 Then it will show the entire workflow, and here you can click the add icon to add steps to the workflow.

STEP 5 : Projects Module Overview

5.1 Click the project module to create projects. You can choose New, In Progress, or Completed according to your project status.


5.2 Then click Add Project to create your project.

5.3 You can see a screen where you have to enter certain details regarding your project. You can attach files and enter details.


5.4 And click create button


5.5 Your project will be created successfully.


5.6 Click three dots to view or delete the project



5.7 If you click View, you can view and edit the changes in the project



5.8 If you want to delete the project, click Delete. 


5.9 You can clone the project by clicking the clone button


5.10 Then a screen appears where you can give title and priority 



5.11 Now click submit to create your clone project


5.12 On the top right corner, you can see a download icon. By clicking that, you can download the project and view it.


Step 6 : Documents Module Overview

6.1 Click the Documents to upload any files, pictures, or documents.

6.2 Click Add New File in the top right corner to Add a document.

6.3 Now a pop up screen will appear. There, give the file name and upload the file


6.4 Then click the create button to upload the file successfully.





6.5 If you want to delete or download the uploaded document, click the three dots and choose the delete option to delete, and if you click the download option, you can download the document.













STEP 7 : All Task Module Overview 

7.1 Click all task modules to view the list of tasks assigned to each person, and you can view the status of the tasks.

7.2 Click the dropdown button; it will list the available projects. Then click the project to see the list of tasks assigned to it.


7.3 Now click the Add Task icon on the top right corner

7.4 Then a screen appears, and there you can enter the details regarding your task Here you can also upload files.


7.5 After giving the details, click the create button

7.6. Your task will be created successfully. Click the three dots; it will show two options.




7.7 Click View to view and make changes to your task.

7.8 If you want to delete the task, then click delete.




7.9 Click the clone icon if you want the same task 

7.10 Now enter the title and to whom you want to assign the clone task. 


7.11 After entering the details, click submit

7.12 Now you can see your created clone task 




7.13 Now click the three dots on the task you created. You can see two option view and delete.


7.14 If you click View, you can see a screen where you have to enter certain details regarding your task. You can attach files and enter the details.


7.15 If you want to delete the task, click the three dots and choose the delete option You can delete the task


7.16 You can drag the task from new to progress, or to completion according to the status of the task.















STEP 8 : My Task Module Overview

8.1 Click my task modules to view the list of tasks assigned to you and you can change the status of the tasks according to your completion status

8.2 Click the dropdown button; it will list the available projects. Then click the project, which will show the tasks assigned to that particular project.


8.3 Now click add task, if you want to create task for yourself


8.4 After clicking add task, enter the details regarding your task


8.5 Now click the create button


8.6 Your task will be created successfully


8.7 By clicking the three dot icon in your created task, you can see two option view and delete If you want to see the entire detail, click view, and to delete the task, click delete.








8.8 By clicking clone task, you can clone the same task again

8.9 If you click "clone task," then a screen appears where you have to enter the title and to whom you're going to assign the same task. Then click "submit,"  and your clone task will be created.



8.10 Now click the three dots on the task you created. You can see two option view and delete.


8.11 If you click View, you can see a screen where you have to enter certain details regarding your task. You can attach files, and after entering the details, you can come back.


8.12 If you want to delete the task, click the three dots and choose delete option You can delete the task.

8.13 You can drag the task from new to progress, or to completion according to the status of the task.







STEP 9 : Search Bar Module Overview

9.1 You can search the task here by entering the task number, title, or description.














STEP 10 : Settings Module Overview

10.1 By clicking the setting icon in the top right corner, you can change the theme

10.2 To see the other information, click See All Settings. There you can see plan information, storage, Layout, and close accounts.




10.3 Here you can see the plan information, storage, Layout, and close account. In plan information, select the plan based on your interest


10.4 In Storage, you can view the remaining storage and storage used.


10.5 In layout, you can change the view of your layout.

10.6 In Close Account, you can see your account details, and if you don't want the account, you can close it by agreeing to the conditions.

















STEP 11 : Notifications Module Overview

11.1 Click the notification icon on the top right to view the notifications.

11.2 You can view all the notifications














STEP 12 : Profile Module Overview

12.1 Click the profile on the top right corner 

12.2 Here you can see your client ID and user ID.


12.3 If you want to leave, click the sign out button

STEP 13 : Forget Password

13.1 Click Forget password. 

13.2 Then enter your registered email ID to verify and click the verify button




13.3 You will get an OTP to your email address. 

13.4 Enter the received OTP to verify

13.5 Now you can enter your new password for your account and confirm it.

13.6 Your Password was changed successfully.
